Winemaker Tom Carson is bit of a legend in Australias uber-trendy Mornington Peninsula, and most of his award winning wines don't come cheap. Distant Noises is Tom's foray into affordable and accessible wines, and this oozes the same class that his top Cuvées always express. A medium bodied Cabernet with cassis, blackcurrant and cedarwood spice aromas. The palate has fine silky tannins and just a hint of herbs, think of crushed rosemary and thyme. This is a nice balance of richness and refreshment and is great all year round.

Our house wine selection has been curated by Alistair Cooper, Master of Wine. We're big believers that the importance of great wine when it comes to great cheese cannot be understated, and as such have selected these wines after hours and hours of scrutiny (and fun), to be all rounders for pairing with our cheese.

Delivery is not only free, and not only at a set day of your choosing, but also comes in a padded climate control box (the only in the industry) that comes with a 48 hour freshness guarantee.

If that wasn't enough, we also add an insert that will talk you through the info on the wines and cheeses, tasting notes and a scorecard to help you make the very most of your cheesegeek delivery!
