Strap in, because The Freddie is an absolute belter of a box that is ready to rock n' roll. You know that bit of Bohemian Rhapsody (just the best song of all time) where they start singing Galileo and you just feel electrified. Well this cheese and craft beer box will have you feeling like that.
NB. What you see is what you get (we're referring to the cheese and beer here; glasses you'll have to supply yourself). It’s tricky for us to swap cheeses in and out - if you’re looking to customise your box, consider The Lionel or The Tina.
Delivery is not only free, and not only at a set day of your choosing, but also comes in a climate control box (the only in the industry) that comes with a 48 hour freshness guarantee.
If that wasn't enough, we also add an insert that will talk you through the info on the cheeses, tasting notes and a scorecard to help you make the very most of your cheesegeek delivery!

Three outstanding artisan British cheeses, a hard, a soft and a blue, because we love variety at Cheese HQ, paired with some craft beers, a pale ale, an IPA and a porter (told you we love variety) from the legends at Northern Monk or with three alcohol free alternatives from Big Drop.
Add on a pair of sustainable bamboo cheesegeek socks from Swole Panda, sensationally soft, and of course, CG yellow, to make it a great present.
A captivating Caerphilly paired with a session IPA.
Originally produced on their farm in South Wales and now in Somerset, the curd’s are worked ‘Caerphilly’ by hand (I’m sorry) to produce the incredibly complex and delicious Gorwydd Caerphilly.
Paired with Eternal, a session IPA (4.2%) from Northern Monk, this gives citrussy and pine notes. The rind in the Caerphilly gives it a different earthy layer and the result is a refreshing and easy pairing.
A soft washed rind cheese paired with a Hazy Pale Ale.
Evenlode is a semi-soft washed rind cheese with a sticky orange rind and savoury, almost meaty interior. You get flavours of beef stock, roast onions and peanuts when it ripens, with fresh, yoghurty flavours in the centre. This cheese is made using single herd, organic cow's milk by King Stone Dairy in the Cotswolds.
Paired with Faith, a Hazy Pale Ale (5.4%) from Northern Monk, this moves us into the fruity territory. You get notes of tropical and lemon drop flavours, and the rind brings with it an extra fermented fruityness.
A fudgy blue paired with a caramel chocolate biscuit porter.
Shepherd’s Purse will be a name that followers of cheesegeek are familiar with. Harrogate Blue has a beautiful golden amber colour, and is matured for a minimum of 10 weeks, it has all the time it needs to develop those creamy, moist, rich flavours that balance the sharp spiciness of the blue veining so craftily. The perfect gateway blue cheese for those on the fence!
Paired with Northern Star, a caramel chocolate biscuit porter (5.2%) from Northern Monk, the cheese enhances the caramel notes in the porter. This is a Northern pairing through and through with the cheese hailing from Harrogate and the beer hailing from Leeds.
