From the heart of Gouda territory in the Netherlands, this is what all good Gouda should taste like. It is aged for 18 months, which Gouda's should be to give them time to develop that amazing flavour. It is rich with a salted caramel sweetness, and a texture almost like fudge. To really add to the situation, it also has an amazing crunch which just adds to the salted caramel vibe. This is one of our classic cheeses at cheesegeek,  a real champion!
